Professional Timeline
December 2019 - May 2022

Assistant in Nursing / Homemaker / Registered Nurse
Uniting Care Springwood Village
I began my role in aged care as an Assistant in Nursing, supporting residents with personal care, mobility, and daily observations. I later took on a Homemaker position, focusing on meal preparation, household routines, and creating a calm, engaging environment. After becoming a Registered Nurse, I took on greater responsibility with regular and PRN medication administration (including syringe drivers), basic wound care, catheter and colostomy support, and providing palliative care. I was involved in clinical assessments, supported residents with dementia and behaviours of concern, and participated in advance care planning alongside families and the care team. Over time, I also gained experience leading shifts and supporting staff to deliver consistent, person-centred care.
June 2022 - February 2023

New Graduate Registered Nurse
Ambulatory Procedure Centre & Scrub/Scout Operating Suite, Nepean Hospital
I began my new graduate rotation in the Ambulatory Procedure Centre, where I cared for patients before and after surgery by conducting pre-operative assessments, monitoring vital signs, administering IV therapies alongside post-operative recovery with pain management, wound dressings, and discharge planning. Midway through, I transitioned into the Scrub/Scout role in theatre, anticipating instrument needs, maintaining aseptic technique, handling specimens, and collaborating closely with the surgical team. This progression deepened my clinical skills and highlighted the importance of adaptability and cohesive teamwork in delivering safe patient care.
March 2023 - present

Emergency Registered Nurse
Emergency Department, Nepean Hospital
I transitioned into the Emergency Department where I rapidly adapted to a high-acuity environment. I advanced into the Resuscitation Team, completed accredited Advanced Life Support, Airway and Circulation Nursing courses, and began my Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing. These experiences have sharpened my critical thinking, expanded my skills in trauma and medical emergencies, and fuelled my growth as a confident, evidence-driven clinician dedicated to delivering life-saving care.
May 2024 - present

In-home Nursing & Community Access
Lacambra Care, Sole Trader
In May 2024, I launched Lacambra Care as an unregistered NDIS and aged-care sole trader with one weekly client, offering personalized in-home nursing, ADL and domestic assistance, wound care, clinical risk assessments, and transport to appointments. Since then, I’ve grown to support three regular clients through referrals from case managers and plan managers, and I continue to expand my practice by building relationships with support coordinators, case managers, and aged-care providers while documenting all interventions to meet NDIS and Aged Care Standards.
